From November 18 to 20, 2025, the 2025 GGII Lithium Battery Annual Conference & 15th Anniversary Celebration was grandly held at the JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen Qianhai Overseas Chinese Town. Kicking off with the theme "15 Years of Forging Ahead, Looking Forward to a New Journey," the conference gathered professionals and senior leaders from industrial chain enterprises including batteries, materials, equipment, and complete vehicles to discuss the industrial trends and development directions in the new cycle.

On November 19, during the 3rd Special Session "New Scenarios Driven by Solid-State Battery Application Landing," Dr. Wang Chen, General Manager of Tsingyane, delivered a keynote speech titled "Dry Electrode Technology Accelerates the Industrialization of All-Solid-State Batteries." In his speech, Dr. Wang emphasized that the true disruptive power of dry electrode technology stems from the overall reconstruction of materials, processes, and equipment, rather than incremental improvements to individual processes.
Materials form the underlying logic of the entire system's feasibility. Therefore, the company has conducted systematic tests on mainstream domestic binders, evaluating fluidity, extrusion ratio, shear properties at different temperatures, PTFE fibrillation behavior, and film-forming performance. After establishing a comprehensive performance database, Tsingyane independently developed polymer-based dry-process-specific binders using PTFE emulsion as the base material. Third-party testing confirmed significant improvements in fluidity, bonding strength, material cohesion, and fibrillation consistency.
Meanwhile, traditional wet-coated carbon foils fail to meet the requirements of high-speed thermal lamination in dry processes. Tsingyane collaborated with partners to redesign the resin system, enabling rapid bonding of carbon-coated aluminum/copper foils, which have passed engineering verifications such as electrolyte resistance and high-temperature immersion tests.
In terms of equipment, Tsingyane achieved breakthroughs in multi-generation film-forming equipment with speeds increasing from 50 to 80 meters per minute this year. In 2025, the company publicly launched China's first 0.1GWh-class fully automated dry electrode integrated production line, realizing integrated automation of key processes including powder film formation, calendering, and double-sided lamination. Dr. Wang also revealed that Tsingyane is planning to construct a 3GWh-class dry electrode mass production line, scaling up the engineering capabilities of the integrated line to meet the mass production needs of power battery customers.

Addressing industry doubts about the "non-scalability" of dry electrode technology, he clearly stated at the conference: "The problem never lies in the dry process itself, but in the lack of simultaneous reconstruction of materials, processes, and equipment. Tsingyane's verification progress proves that when these three aspects are synergistically integrated, dry electrode technology can fully achieve large-scale production."
In the 5th Special Session's roundtable dialogue "AI-Driven Transformation of the Battery Industry," Dr. Wang Chen participated as a guest, discussing topics such as exploring application scenarios for solid-state batteries with other participants.

Concurrent with the conference, the "2025 GGII Global Awards Ceremony" was grandly held. Tsingyane was awarded the "Innovation of the Year" award in recognition of its outstanding innovation capabilities. This award serves as authoritative affirmation of Tsingyane's forward-looking exploration in technological R&D and product innovation, and also reflects the industry's high recognition of its innovation-driven development model and transformative achievements in empowering industrial upgrading.
"If we only modify one process, it cannot be called disruption. The reason why dry electrode technology is a disruptive innovation is that it must start with material modification, followed by the synergy of processes and equipment. Only when materials are optimized can the entire dry-process production line operate efficiently." Looking ahead, Tsingyane will continue to inject new momentum into intelligent manufacturing in the dry-process field, achieve technological breakthroughs, deepen collaboration with customers, and make intelligent manufacturing more efficient, intelligent, and sustainable.
