Recently, the winners of the 2025 Guangdong Mechanical Engineering Society Science and Technology Award have been officially announced. The project "Research, Development and Application of Key Technologies and Equipment for Dry Electrode Intelligent Manufacturing", jointly submitted by Shenzhen Tsingyuan Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. together with GAC Aion New Energy Vehicle Co., Ltd., Tsingyuan Nano Intelligent Equipment Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., and Research Institute of Tsinghua University in Shenzhen, has been awarded the First Prize.

In accordance with the articles of association of the provincial and municipal societies, the meeting reviewed and voted on a number of proposals on the adjustment of council members. Professor-level Senior Engineer Cao Yongjun read out the proposals one by one. After deliberation and voting by the attending representatives, the meeting approved the appointment and removal proposal appointing Comrade Wang Chen as a director of the provincial society.

Focusing on industry pain points in dry electrode manufacturing such as poor consistency, low production efficiency and difficult precision control, the project has overcome core technologies for dry electrode preparation and developed a complete set of equipment. Its major innovative achievements are as follows:
Developed a highly dispersible PTFE surface regulation and preparation technology, and established a "rigid-flexible synergistic" multi-component composite binder system. This solves critical problems including uneven mixing of dry electrode materials, unstable pore structure and weak interfacial bonding, significantly improving electrode sheet consistency, mechanical integrity and electrochemical stability.
Proposed an integrated structural design scheme of "multi-stage blind hole array + chemical modification wetting + transverse mechanical strengthening", which systematically addresses common bottlenecks such as difficult electrolyte wetting of thick electrodes, low initial efficiency and insufficient transverse mechanical strength. It achieves collaborative optimization of interfacial kinetics, electrochemical performance and forming stability of thick electrodes.
